Since its founding in 1973, Second Street Gallery has been
supported by generous individuals and businesses who view
contemporary art as key to the cultural enhancement of the
Central Virginia region. Those who donate outside of membership—be
it to underwrite a specific exhibition program, educational
initiative, or public event—embrace the power of new
art and new ideas, and share a deep commitment to the arts,
seeing expression from living artists as an integral part
of any vibrant cultural community.
Second Street Gallery welcomes donations, be they targeted
to a specific program or unrestricted to support part or whole
seasons. SSG features a wide variety of opportunities annually
that allow art patrons to find particular projects that speak
to their specific interests.
