SSG receives funding from individuals, businesses, and corporations
through its membership and major gifts program, and through
grants from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and private
foundations. SSG is a member of the Virginia Association of
Museums (VAM), the Virginians for the Arts, the Andy Warhol
Foundation for the Visual Arts, and the Piedmont Council of
the Arts.
